SEND Transport engagement event – 5 February 2020

Haringey Council is holding a SEND transport engagement event on 5 February at Marcus Garvey Library on Philip Lane. The engagement will run across the day with three sessions:

  • 10am to 12 noon
  • 12 noon to 2pm
  • 5pm to 7pm

The council says: The purpose of the event is to gather views from parents, carers and young people on their experience of SEND transport. We also want to hear views from parents and carers whose child may be using transport in the future (but are currently too young to do so or who may use it once they transfer to secondary school) or those parents and carers who believe their child should have transport to and from school for SEND reasons but who doesn’t currently qualify under the SEND Transport Policy.

Cllr Zena Brabazon will introduce the event, and there will be a contribution from a parent and an officer followed by breakout sessions with facilitated and scribed themes session on transport.

UPDATE: 7 February 2020
