sendPACT has volunteered to be part of a Task and Finish Group that will be reviewing the council’s draft of a new EHCP template. The first meeting will be on 8 May and we want to make sure that this template is much better than before and is fit for purpose for all families and their children.
If you would like to pass on any comments you might have on the current EHCP template that might help us with making the improvements, we would really appreciate it.
For example:
- What do you like about the current template?
- What don’t you like about the current template?
- What do you think about the language used in the template – is it too simple, too complicated?
- Can you give us a copy of an EHCP template that you’ve seen somewhere else that you like or don’t like?
